Cupping
Cupping is part of traditional Chinese medicine. With cupping, the body sends more blood to the cupping area to stimulate the natural healing processes. It clears the pores and releases toxins as well.
Cupping can help with headaches, pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and stretching. The cups can be put on the back, stomach, arms, legs or other parts of human body. With a vacuum or suction force, the pathological metabolites can be drawn out of the body via the skin. The colors of the cupping marks indicate the pathological factors (dampness, wind, internal heat, internal cold, blood deficiency, blood stasis etc) inside the body.
The materials for the cups can be plastic, glass, bamboo, silicone and earthenware. The methods can be different which involve dry cupping and wet cupping.
